CastleKnight Management LP was founded in 2020 by Aaron Weitman. Mr. Weitman previously spent over 15 years at Appaloosa Management, where he was a Senior Partner. CastleKnight manages an Event-Driven / Special Situations strategy that invests opportunistically across capital structures of all sizes. CastleKnight marries a macro-aware approach with a deep fundamental research process, seeking to identify de-risked, mispriced securities with asymmetric return profiles, under-appreciated intricacies to their capital structures, and catalysts to drive returns.
